Sevak Khanagyan releases the official version of the Armenian entry ‘Qami’

Today the final version of the Armenian entry for the Eurovision Song 2018 was released, along with the music video.  The song ‘Qami’ (English: Wind) is sung by Sevak Khanagyan, a 30 year old singer born in Metsavan, Armenia.

The Armenian entry was chosen on Sunday 25th February via the national selection show known as Depi Evrasetil. Both the Armenia public and International Jury awarded Sevak Khanagyan the maximum 12 points to secure an overwhelming victory.

In the official video Sevak emerges from a smoky path surrounded by stone walls.  He eventually transforms further to the top of a small island adrift from the mainland.

Armenia will perform in the second half of the first semi final on May 8th in Lisbon.
