This is YOUR winner of Melodi Grand Prix 2018!

The Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix is taking place tonight in Oslo, where a total of 10 acts are going to compete in order to impress the international jury and the public and be the one(s) to represent Norway in the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon this May.

In the past couple of weeks, we ran a poll asking you to vote for your personal favorite, the song that you would like to see winning Melodi Grand Prix and representing Norway in Lisbon. These are the current results:

  1. Alexander Rybak – That’s How You Write A Song – 26.95%
  2. Rebecca Thorsen – Who We Are – 18.85%
  3. Aleksander Walmann – Talk To The Hand – 18.63%
  4. Alejandro Fuentes – Tengo otra – 9.86%
  5. Tom Hugo – I Like I Like I Like – 9.57%
  6. Stella & Alexandra – You Got Me – 7.38%
  7. Ida Maria – Scandilove – 4.46%
  8. Nicoline – Light Me Up – 1.83%
  9. Vidar Villa – Moren din – 1.61%
  10. Charla K – Stop The Music – 0.88%

Our editors have also listened to the 10 songs competing in tonight’s show and have voted for their favorites. Here is the outcome:

Whilst our readers have the winner of Eurovision 2009, Alexander Rybak as their pick, far ahead of anyone else, our editors have only placed him in 7th place, on a either love it or hate it basis. Second placed Rebecca Thorsen and third placed Aleksander Walmann finished as the top two with our editors panel.

Our poll will close at the end of tonight’s show, so you can still cast your vote for your personal favorite act, and perhaps change the result of our poll:
