And the winner of #escknockout is…

After 42 knockouts with this year’s Eurovision entries on our official Twitter account, the #escknockout has come to its end. In the Grand Final between Mélovin (Ukraine), Netta (Israel) and Saara Aalto (Finland), our followers on Twitter have decided that the winner is – Mélovin!

On his path to victory, Mélovin beat Alfred and Amaia from Spain in the first round and then Michael Schulte from Germany in round two. In the quarterfinals in a very close battle, he managed to beat Eleni Foureira from Cyprus, and then Eye Cue from FYR Macedonia in the Semi Final. He won the Grand Final with 50% of the votes, ahead of Saara Aalto in second place (34%), and Netta in third (16%).
