Estonia: More details announced on the dress
Following on from our previous post about Elina Nechayeva’s dress, more details have been announced, showing how the dress will look.
The images show the dress representing a flower, water, aswell as snowflakes, which you can see by clicking here.
Video artist Alyona Movko confirmed that the first technical rehearsals with the dress have begun, whilst the rest of the Estonian delegation got a first impression of how it looks today. In particular, Movko said:
There’s a production going on right now. We’ve tried it and it looks very cool!
Eurovision is a big event and everyone tries to keep an eye on your show. Elina’s performance will be something very special.
Discussing the staging, Movko added:
The Eurovision projectors are four times more powerful than in Eesti Laul. The stage is just as big, or rather small. When I saw that, I thought the stage was created for Elina. It has a special round shape. One of its specific features is that the stage is open and people are almost standing around the whole stage. The dress will be seen from every side of the arena.
The projectors also allow for more powerful graphics, where each detail can be seen. Lots of lights can be used with these projectors. Thus, you can do both light show and detailed animation.
