Eleni Foureira scores record deal with Sony Music International!

Things are looking very, very good for Eleni Foureira! After being chosen by the Cypriot broadcaster CyBC to represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon with ‘Fuego’ and receiving both the massive love of fans and a second place in the final, the highest placing for Cyprus ever, more international adventures await Eleni!

Sony Music Poland disclosed that Sony Music International acted quick and let Eleni join their ranks:

In Polish the text says:

The Sony Music family has been joined by Eleni Foureira / Ελενη Φουρεϊρα, who represented Cyprus during this year’s Eurovision Song Contest. She got 8 points from the Polish audience!

Infegreece.fr note that Eleni is only the second Greek artist to secure an international record deal. Eleni is the first one to do it with Sony Music International, the other artist was Elena Paparizou with Universal Music.
Talking about record companies: this new deal won’t interfere with her existing ones, as Greek music label Panik Records already renewed their contract with her!

And new music from Eleni is on its way! In a recent interview she revealed that several singles in both English and Greek are coming and even a foreign-language album!

See the performance again that sparked all of this, Eleni releasing her ”Fuego”:
