Ruslana “We have unique elements which unite us”

On Friday evening in the Myriad hotel, near the Altice Arena, the 2004 Eurovision winner Ruslana from Ukraine presented her new project to promote the use of clean, renewable energy.

At the event entitled ‘Wild Energy’, Ruslana spoke passionately about using her role to encourage us protect the environment.  In particular she focused on the beautiful Carpathian Moutains and the need to stop deforestation for use as fuels.

On Saturday Ruslana then performed shortly before the Grand Final at the Eurovision Village, combining a live performance of her new single ‘My Mystery’ and an explanation of why she wanted Eurovision fans to move to cleaner energy sources.

Nick caught up with Ruslana at the launch and chatted to her about her message and how she thought Portugal’s hosting of Eurovision had went.
