Sevak releases ‘Zerkala’!

Not long after the Eurovision Song Contest 2018, Sevak Khanagyan, who represented Armenia in Portugal this year with ‘Qami’, has a new single ready!
The single is called ‘Зеркала’ (Zerkala), which means ”Mirror” in Russian and the track is in Sevak’s native Russian indeed!

The music was written by Sevak himself while the lyrics are written by Anna Danielyan.

Whereas his Eurovision entry ‘Qami’ was a song that was heavily folk-inspired, allowing Sevak to pour his Armenian roots into a song about a topic that means so much to him and fellow Armenians, he now shows a different side of him. Still with that deep voice, he is now accompanied by a more electronical-sounding song that fits neatlessly into the Russian pop tradition, while Sevak makes it his own by singing in the emotional way we’re used from him:

What is your opinion on ‘Zerkala’? Did you expect this sound from Sevak and do you like the song?
