ESCBubble’s new music round up!

ESCBubble has been hard at work looking for new music from Eurovision related artists to share with you, and this week was again a treasure trove full of fresh material!

Here’s our round up of some of the more interesting releases:

Poli Genova – Perfect Love

Two time a Bulgarian Eurovision representative in 2011 and 2016, Poli Genova is back with a brand new single.  ‘Perfect Love’ is a modern, chart friendly number and sounds perfect for the summer months.  You can listen to Poli’s new release below:

Ani Lorak – Сумасшедшая

The 2008 Ukrainian Eurovision runner up is still going strong and releases her latest song ‘Сумасшедшая’ (English: ‘Crazy’).  Unlike ‘Shady Lady’ her recent releases have been rather downtempo, however this is more in the uptempo style ESC fans will remember her for.  Listen to ‘Сумасшедшая’ here:

Samir och Viktor feat Anis Don Demina – Put Your Hands Up för Sverige

You’ll probably be aware that the 2018 FIFA World Cup is about to start in Russia and there’s no better way to celebrate it than with a Melodifestivalen act releasing a football song!  Following on from his duet released last week with Sigrid Bernson, Samir Badran is back with his usual partner Viktor Frisk for the anthemic ‘Put Your Hands Up för Sverige’.  Featuring Anis Don Demina, you can listen to their follow up to the Melodifestivalen 4th placer ‘Shuffla’ below:

Il Volo feat Gente De Zona – Noche Sin Día

Well this one was an unexpected release, 2015’s 3rd place act Il Volo are back with a summer ready Reggaeton bop ‘Noche Sin Día’ featuring Cuban group Genre De Zona. Swapping their traditional opera style for the dancefloor we were definitely surprised by the interesting change in style!  You can hear ‘Noche Sin Día’ (English: ‘Night Without Day’) here:

Mariette – Time To Spare

Viewers of Melodifestivalen will be no stranger to Mariette Hanson.  A three time finalist in 2015, 2017 and 2018 she finished 3rd, 4th and 5th respectively.  Following on from her 2018 entry ‘For You’, her single ‘Time To Spare’ is similar in style and sound.  Have a listen to ‘Time To Spare’ below:

ZÖE – Heartbreaker

Eurovision fans will be very familiar with ZÖE,  She successfully won the 2016 Austrian selection show ‘Wer singt für Österreich?’ with ‘Loin D’ici’ after finishing third the previous year with ‘Quel Filou’.  She went on to finish 13th at the 2016 contest and then returned to our screens this year as a judge on San Marino’s selection show ‘1in360’. She’s now returned with a new English language single called ‘Heartbreaker’ which you can hear below:

Robin Bengtsson – Liar

The former Melodifestivalen acts are really pumping out the releases right now and this week sees the return of Sweden’s 2017 Eurovision entrant Robin Bengtsson.  Following on from his 5th place at Melodifestivalen in 2016 with ‘Constellation Prize’ he went onto finish 5th at Eurovision last year with ‘I Can’t Go On’.  Now he’s back with ‘Liar’ which you can listen to here:
