The annual Eurovision Cruise will be held again this year on the 8th and 9th of September, where several Eurovision artists will perform. After The Hungry Hearts (Melodi Grand Prix 2016), Kati Wolf (Hungary 2011 and A Dal 2015), and Linda Martin (Ireland 1984 and 1992), the organizers have now confirmed that the band that represented Macedonia at this year’s Contest – Eye Cue, are the fourth confirmed act.
Eye Cue have been nominated and won many categories at the MARS Festival, including “The best song performed by a band in 2017” “The best song performed by a band 2015”, “The best cover of a song in 2014” as well as “The best rock song in 2012”. They have taken part a several festivals in their country and won many prices with their music.
Earlier this year, Macedonia’s national broadcaster MRT have chosen the band internally to represent their country at the Eurovision Song Contest. Unfortunately, their “Lost And Found” failed to find its way to the Grand Final earlier this year in Lisbon, finishing 18th in a semi of 19 with 24 points.
More information about the participants and full details on the cruise itself can be found on the Eurovision Cruise Facebook page. ESCBubble will keep you updated on more artists being added to the line-up!
