Here at ESCBubble, we have always said that one of the best things about our beloved contest is that we are exposed to a whole crop of talented artists that we may never have otherwise have had the pleasure of following.
2018 is no exception, and today the Latvian entrant from this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, Laura Rizzotto has given us her new track “Bonjour” via (amongst other platforms) Spotify
Laura is a 23 year old singer songwriter who is half Brazilian and half Latvian and won this year’s Supernova selection with the song “Funny Girl” which she took to Lisbon, performing in the second semi final and unfortunately failing to qualify for the Grand Final
“Bonjour” is a mid tempo tale of a summer romance, with Laura’s stunning vocals front and centre. There are some fantastic note progressions in the verses which give way to one of those choruses that you can sing along to instantly
