Earlier, we have reported on Malta trying a new approach for next Eurovision season: the representative will be chosen through the well-known format X Factor, that will be coming to Malta for the first time!
Ben Camille, who has hosted Junior Eurovision 2016 before, will also be hosting the very first edition of The X Factor Malta.
The organizers have announced that Keith Debono, best known for being the manager of Ira Losco (Malta 2002 & 2016) and Ray Merciera (musician, well known through his memorable songs with The Characters and The Rifffs) are the first two judges. Now they have also announced the third judge, the first of the two women on the panel – Alexandra Alden!
Alexandra Alden is a Maltese singer, songwriter, guitarist, performing artist and tutor who is currently residing in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Music specialising in vocals in the summer of 2018. She had two number one songs with her first album and has just released her second one on an international label.

The fourth and final judge will be revealed later today, and our sources tell us that it is Ira Losco who will be joining this panel. This is yet to be officially confirmed in the next few hours.
