Netta’s ‘Toy’ reaches number 6 in the Billboard Charts!

The winning entry of the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest, “Toy” by Netta has entered the Billboard Dance charts, and is currently charting at number 6!

Netta’s “Toy” is not as successful in the charts as expected, as it only peaked in the top 10 in three countries only – Israel (number 1), Sweden (number 5), and Finland (number 10). Seeing as Netta was recently promoting her entry “Toy” in the US, and performed her song on The Today Show, her song climbed up in the Billboard charts in the US, and from last week’s 11th she climbed up five places and is charting at number 6 at this week’s charts.

This is not the first Eurovision song to reach the Billboard charts this year though. As a reminder, Serhat’s Eurovision entry from 2016 “I Didn’t Know” (in a collaboration with Martha Wash) has made the Billboard charts as well earlier this year, as his entry peaked at number 30.

Can Netta reach the number 1 in the US? What do you think? Let us know in the comments below and on our social media pages.
