The ESCBubble new music roundup

Welcome to the weekly round up of the hottest new music sourced for you here at ESCBubble.  We’ve searched all over Europe for you for any new material from former Eurovision entrants or from those who’ve not quite made it there.  Here’s this week’s selection:

Wiktoria – Perfect Memory

21 year old Wiktoria Johansson is a two time Melodifestivalen entrant and she also took part in Lilla Melodifestivalen.  Although she’s made the Melfest final twice, she hasn’t quite yet made it to Eurovision after finishing 4th in 2016 and 6th in 2017.  She may have her eyes on entering again next year, is her new single ‘Perfect Memory’ a taste of what she might send?  You can have a listen to it here:

Sigrid Bernson – Hot Like The Sun

2018 Melodifestivalen artist Sigrid Bernson has been a busy bee since her entry ‘Patrick Swayze’ made Andra Chansen.  We previously told you about her recent duet with fellow Swede Samir Badran called ‘Nar jag ligger med nån annan’.  Now she’s back again with another summery song with a delicious tropical vibe called ‘Hot Like The Sun’:

Nicole Cross feat Frans – Loving U

The 2016 Melodifestivalen winner and Swedish Eurovision artist Frans is back!  He teams up with 24 year old up and coming German star Nicole Cross, who rose to fame after Ashton Kutcher shared her cover of Adele’s ‘Hello’ from Youtube. Frans himself of course went on to finish a very respectable 5th at Eurovision with his entry ‘If I Were Sorry’.  Here’s their hookup ‘Loving U’:

Moncho – Livet är en fest

You guessed it, another Melodifestivalen act!  Moncho, like Sigrid Bernson earlier, also made it to Andra Chansen this year.  After finishing 4th in the 3rd Semi Final, his entry ‘Cuba Libra’ lost in its duel against Margaret’s ‘In My Cabana’.  An extremely upbeat number, have a listen to ‘Livet är en fest’ (Eng: ‘Life Is A Party’):

Albin Johnsén feat Dotter – Du & Jag För Aldrig

Albin Johnsén took part in the 2016 edition of Melodifestivalen and reached Andra Chansen in a duet with Mattias Andréasson called ‘Rik’.  Here he teams up with a 2018 Melfest entrant Dotter for their collaboration called ‘Du & Jag För Aldrig’ (Eng: ‘You and I For Never’):

Shirley Clamp – Självklart & Kom

The six time Melodifestivalen contestant Shirley Clamp has had a very interesting time of it recently.  Her marriage of 14 years to Daniel Ottosson ended two years ago and this week she was one of the artists performing on the popular summer TV show ‘Allsång på Skansen’.  She’s released two songs this week both of which she performed on the show ‘Självklart’ (Eng: ‘Obvious’) and ‘Kom’ (Eng: ‘Come’):

Adrijana – Se Mig

Adrijana Krasniqi, better known in Sweden as Adrijana, took part in the 2017 edition of Melodifestivalen with her entry ‘Amare’.  Unfortunately for Adrijana she failed to progress from the first semi final finishing in sixth place.  She brought a rare bit of hip hop to the contest and she continues in the same vein with her new single ‘Se Mig’ (Eng: ‘Watch Me’):

And finally….

ESCBubble has already brought you two other huge releases this week.  2018 Eurovision runner up Eleni Foureira is back with ‘Caramela’ and Franka returned with ‘Kao Ti I Ja’.  You can hear them and all of the songs listed above in our July New Music Spotify Playlist on our home page.
