Marija Spasovska will represent Macedonia in Junior Eurovision 2018!

MRT have announced this morning, that the country of Macedonia will be represented by Marija Spasovska in the upcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest!

The broadcaster had announced an audition session where applicants could show their vocal talent. To these audition on the 18th of August, ten candidates turned up.
After hearing all the singers, the jury unanimously selected Marija Spasovska, currently a student in the 8th grade of the elementary school Aleksandar Makedonski.
The jury stated that Marija had the best performance of the day and that she possesses extraordinary singing abilities, which makes her a worthy person to represent Macedonia in the 16th Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Minsk.

Marija herself has been working on her music career for quite some time already.
She has performed in many shows for young talents in the region and has collected awards and recognitions, among which: those for performances in Struga, Macedonia, Minsk in Belarus and she reached 3rd place in Slavianski Bazaar with her rendition of ‘Crno i belo’ by fellow Macedonian singer Kaliopi!

The song below, ‘Igraj so srce’, is rumoured to be Marija’s Junior Eurovision entry.
Wether that is true, remains to be seen, but at least it gives you a taste of her abilities!

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place on the 25th of November 2018 in Minsk, Belarus.
