Saara Aalto and her life after Eurovision

Saara Aalto has done a lot during her career. This Finnish singer-songwriter has been a voice of a Disney princess, recorded an album in Chinese and of course finished second in many competitions.

In May, one of her long-time dreams became reality when she represented Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon. After Eurovision, Saara hasn’t been resting much: great new things are happening in her career.

Right after Eurovision she started a tour in UK with Steps and Eurovision 2011 representatives Blue. The tour visited in many UK cities and finished with two concerts in London. Saara made a short documentary about her experiences during this tour, watch it here

 

In June Saara also published her new single DANCE!!! from her latest album Wild Wild Wonderland which came out in April. During summer Saara has performed at many Pride-parties too, including London Pride, Helsinki Pride and Europride in Stockholm.

Saara Aalto’s autumn will be at least as busy as her spring and summer have been. In October she will go on aEuropean tour which includes eight concerts. These concerts are held in Glasgow, Manchester, Madrid, London, Dublin, Belfast, Stockholm and Copenhagen. Saara hasn’t forgot her Finnish fans either: during October and November she makes a tour with sixteen concerts in Finland.

Saara Aalto has already made a long and successful career as a singer-songwriter and she shows no sign of slowing her pace. Although you can never tell what Saara Aalto does next, there’s one thing you can know for sure: whatever she does, it’s doing to be big and spectacular!

Maybe the next big thing for Aalto happens in her personal life, because the fans would surely love to hear wedding-bells for Saara Aalto and her long-time lifepartner Meri Sopanen.
