If you’re like us you probably hate Monday’s as much as we do.  Fortunately the ESCBubble new music roundup is here every week to help you find the freshest releases and future hits from your favourite Eurovision and National Final artists!

Cleo – Film

Everyone we’re sure remembers Poland’s 2014 entry ‘My Słowianie’, with the feisty butter churning milkmaids helping Donatan and Cleo into 14th place in the Grand Final.  Since Eurovision Cleo has gone her separate ways with several releases including the album ‘Bastet’ in 2016.  She now has a new album in the pipeline, scheduled for early 2019 and her new single ‘Film’ will be featured on there:

Anouk – Het Is Klaar

Anouk started the Netherlands current successful run at Eurovision when her entry ‘Birds’ returned her country to the Grand Final and a very respectable 9th place.  Her career spans a long 20 years in her home country and she’s amassed an amazing 10 number 1 albums there!  Her latest single is called ‘Het Is Klaar’ (Eng: ‘It’s Ready) and is taken from her forthcoming album ‘Wen D’r Maar Aan‘ released on 12th October:

Tim Schou – Run Run Run Run Run

Former lead singer of A Friend In London, Tim Schou has been going it alone ever since they split in 2014.  The band were best known for finishing 5th in Eurovision 2011 with their entry ‘New Tomorrow’ for Denmark, and since splitting Tim’s released numerous singles such as ‘Supernova’ and ‘Goodbye’.  His latest track is called ‘Run Run Run Run Run’ and you can listen to it here:

Michal Szpak – Rainbow

Michal is a both a former X Factor alumni (2nd in 2011) and Eurovision Grand Finalist 2016, with ‘Color Of Your Life’.  Although he intially finished second to last with the juries, his third place in the televote catapulted him sensationally up the scoreboard into 8th place! Since Eurovision he’s ventured back into Reality TV and was the winning coach on The Voice Poland last year, mentoring Marta Gałuszewska who of course competed in this years Polish National Final!

Here’s ‘Rainbow’:

Nathan Trent & J-MOX – Secretos

Earlier in the year we brought you ‘Secrets’, a summery, uptempo hook up between Austria’s 2017 representative Nathan Trent and fellow Austrian and DJ J-Mox.  Now they’re venturing out with a Spanish language version ‘Secretos’!  You can have a listen to their new version below:

Miskovits, Kállay Saunders & Fehér Holló – Rád vártam

Kállay Saunders is no stranger to both Eurovision and the Hungarian selection show A Dal.  He has an impressive record since 2014:

  • 2014 – ‘Running’ wins A Dal and finishes 5th in the Eurovision Grand Final
  • 2016 – ‘Who We Are’ (as part of the ‘Kállay Saunders Band’) finishes 3rd in the Jury vote and makes the Superfinal of A Dal
  • 2017 – ‘Seventeen’ (also as part of the ‘Kállay Saunders Band’) makes the final of A Dal but not the Superfinal.

He’s now reverted back to being just Kállay Saunders again and here he teams up with former tv presenter turned musician Miskovits and another Hungarian musician Fehér Holló with ‘Rád vártam’:

Serebro – Chico Loco

Serebro were put together specifically to represent Russia at Eurovision in 2007, and they had a 3rd place podium finish with ‘Song #1’.  They were originally made up of Olga Seryabkina, Marina Lizorkina and Elena Temnikova however Marina and Elena have since moved on.  Serebro now consists of Olga, Katya Kischuk and Tatiana Morgunova although there have numerous band member changes inbetween!  In all their incarnations they’ve had a continually successful career with numerous hit singles and albums in the Russian charts.

Their new Spanglish bop is called “Chico Loco’ and apparently the band learnt some Spanish just for the single:

Elena – Un Gram De Suflet

Remember ‘The Balkan Girls’?  Once seen never forgotten and Romania’s 2009 representative Elena Gheorghe shimmied and shook herself to 19th in the Grand Final that year.  Using just the name Elena these days, she’s released many a fine bop since them including the wonderfully titled ‘Hot Bhangra’ last year.  Her newest release is titled ‘Un Gram De Suffet’ (Eng: ‘A Gram Of Soul’) and you can catch it below:

And finally….

We brought you news of a new single by 2018 Ukrainian representative MELOVIN a couple of weeks ago called ‘That’s Your Role’, he’s finally got round to releasing it on Spotify and you can listen to it here:
