The official Twitter account of France Télévisions announced that Edoardo Grassi will no longer be the Head of Delegation of France at Eurovision, and that he is going to be replaced by Steven Clerima.
After Bruno Berberes stepped down as the Head of Delegation for France, Edoardo Grassi replaced him in 2016, and brought a whole new view of France at the Eurovision Song Contest. In the three years Grassi was the Head of Delegation, France finished on the left hand side of the scoreboard every time (Amir placed 6th in 2016, Alma finished 12th in 2017 and Madame Monsieur 13th in 2018).
The successor of Edoardo Grassi will be Steven Clerima, who was Edoardo’s assistant in the last three years. He is at the same time the Program Advisor in the Entertainment Department of France 2, which means that now the French delegation will be fully under the responsibility of of France Télévisions’ France 2 teams. Steven’s first event as the new Head of Delegation is going to be the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Minsk, as France will be making their return after 14 years.
