The Hungarian national broadcaster MTVA has formed a preselection jury, who have now selected 30 songs which are going to be competing in A Dal 2019, Hungary’s Eurovision selection. These 30 acts are going to be announced in a special press conference on Monday, 3rd of December.
ESCBubble has been invited to the press conference where the 30 acts competing in A Dal 2019 are going to be revealed, alongside the hosts of the show, as well as the jury members. We will have a rolling live blog straight from the press conference, where we will inform you about the participants and their songs as soon as they are being announced. The press conference is set to start at 11:00 CET.
We have reported earlier that Kállay Saunders has entered a song for the competition once again, this time with his new band – The Middletonz. Whether they made it to the show, and also whether there will be any more former Eurovision entrant comebacks, we will find out on Monday. Stay tuned to ESCBubble for all the news from Hungary.
AWS won A Dal 2018 and went on to represent Hungary in Eurovision in Lisbon. Their metal entry “Viszlát nyár” finished in 21st place.
