The Swedish portal Aftonbladet just confirmed that one previous winner of Melodifestivalen is going to be back in this competition, and it’s none other than Anna Bergendahl!

Anna Bergendahl joins the long list of artists who are confirmed to be taking part once again in this year’s Melodifestivalen – Nano, Wiktoria, Anton Hagman, Jon Henrik Fjällgren, Lina Hedlund (a member of Alcazar), Dolly Style, John Ludvik, and the Polish superstar Margaret. The full list of participants is going to be announced on the special press conference on the 27th of November.

Anna Bergendahl won the 2010 Melodifestivalen, and went on to represent Sweden in Oslo with the song “This Is My Life”. She is up to date the only ever Swedish act that failed to make it to the Grand Final, since the introduction of semi finals back in 2004.
