Freddie wins Sztárban Sztár – the Hungarian version of Your Face Sounds Familiar!

The sixth edition of Sztárban Sztár (the Hungarian version of Your Face Sounds Familiar) finished last night. After a total of 10 shows, where a total of 16 contestants took part (singers, actors, composers), the public have chosen the winner of the show – Freddie!

In the first nine shows of the season, four juries and the public were voting for the acts, and every week one of them got eliminated. Four acts have made it to the Final, three of which might be familiar to you – Renáta Tolvai (who took part in A Dal three times: in 2012 with “Élek a szemeidben”, in 2016 with “Fire” and in 2018 with “Crack My Code”), Gabi Völgyesi (who took part in A Dal in 2013 with “Csak te légy”), Évi Sári (singer, actress and a TV presenter), and Freddie – who won A Dal 2016 and represented Hungary in Stockholm with “Pioneer”.

Throughout his participation in Sztárban Sztár, Freddie had to impersonate stars such as Tina Turner, Adam Lambert, Rod Steward, Robbie Williams, Michael Bolton and Luciano Pavarotti, apart from various Hungarian stars. He won three of the nine shows leading to the Final, and the public chose him as the winner of the whole season.

Freddie will once again be the host of A Dal, so we shall be seeing him in the presenter role on Duna TV in all six shows of A Dal 2019, which starts on the 19th of January.
