Today the Polish news site FAKT is reporting that the Polish Eurovision broeadcaster, TVP, believe they have a potential artist who will best represent them in Tel Aviv – Natalia Szroeder. The 23 year old, a hugely successful artist in her homeland, is believed to be willing to engage with TVP if she can agree a song and a budget with the broadcaster for promotion.
The Polish press had previously reported that that President of TVP, Jacek Kurski, commented in an interview to Radio Zet that he was looking at scrapping the National Final “Krajowe Eliminacje” following the success of the internally selected artist Roksana Wegiel at Junior Eurovision. It was also believed that he’d indicated that he’d found it a struggle to get well known and established stars to compete against lesser known ones.
Roksana’s victory shows that the lack of a national selection was a good decision.
Szroeder has already of course participated at “Krajowe Eliminacje” in 2016, where her entry ‘Lustra’ finished 5th:
She is currently dating the Polish rapper Kuba “Quebonafide” Grabowski and FAKT are also reporting that he will be helping her find good producers and musicians to allow her to prepare the right song for Eurovision.
Since 2016’s National Final she has increased her popularity in her homeland after winning the Polish version of “Dancing With The Stars” in 2017. She also finished 7th in “Your Face Sounds Familiar” with her incredible Whitney Houston impression even reaching as the UK’s press.

Her latest single ‘Parasole’ represents a modern sound which like Roksana could potentially bring Poland further success:
She will also be appearing in a New Years Eve special named ‘Sylwester Marzeń‘ on the TVP2 channel, alongside Junior Eurovision winner Roksana Węgiel and two time Melodifestivalen and one time “Krajowe Eliminacje’ entrant Margaret.
