Dan Bittman withdraws from Selectia Nationala 2019!

Dan Bittman was set to make his comeback to Selectia Nationala 25 years after he actually won this competition, and represented Romania in Eurovision 1994 with “Dincolo de nori”. In his New Year’s message on Facebook, Dan also announced that he has to withdraw from the Romanian Eurovision selection, which he was set to participate in with the song “Pierd”.

Dan Bittman posted a New Year’s message for all of his fans and followers on his official Facebook page, where he announced his withdrawal from Selectia Nationala. In between other things, he mentioned that he will not be out of the country and thus he will be unable to compete. He also added that he thinks it would be best if Romania was represented by young talented artists.

It is yet unknown whether another act is going to replace Dan Bittman in Selectia Nationala 2019, or whether the competition will go on with 23 entrants, and uneven semi finals. Stay tuned for more information to come.
