Tonight it was time for the first semi-final of Selecția Națională 2019, the Romanian national selection for Eurovision. 11 acts took part of tonight’s show:
- Trooper – Destin
- Berniceya – The Call: Dynasty of Love
- Ommieh and Anakrisez – Rock This Way
- Teodora Dinu – Skyscraper
- Dya and Lucian Colareza – Without You (Sin ti)
- Nicola – Weight of the World
- Steam – The Way It Goes
- Vaida – Underground
- Claudiu Mirea – We Are the Ones
- The Four – Song of My Heart
- Bella Santiago – Army of Love
Five of the acts gualified for the final based on the votes of the national jury. The jury chose following five acts to final:
- Trooper – Destin
2. Teodora Dinu – Skyscraper
3. Dya and Lucian Colareza – Without You (Sin ti)
4. Claudiu Mirea – We Are the Ones
5. Bella Santiago – Army of Love
After the jury qualifiers, it was time for the public to vote one more act to the final. After the televote, it was Vaida who won the ticket to the final with her song Underground:
Congratulations to all qualifiers! The second semi-final of Selecția Națională 2019 takes place in February 10th and the final is held in February 17th.
