Here is your weekly new music roundup!

Welcome to the latest instalment of ESCBubble’s new music feature. It’s been a quieter week but we still have some quality additions from former Eurovision artists and those from National selections who didn’t quite make it!

Dami Im – Live Sessions EP

We told you back in November about ‘Dreamer’ the first cut from a new live EP from Dami Im and this week she has dropped the whole thing! Featuring 6 songs, the 2016 Australian runner up also features a live version of her Eurovision entry ‘Sound of Silence’. Showing the full range of her amazing voice, check out the ‘Live Sessions EP’:

Frans – One Floor Down

‘One Floor Down’ is the return of 2016 Swedish representative Frans. On the release of the single, he talked on his Instagram about how the project was done in 3 weeks and he thanked his friends for their patience whilst he recorded it:

KAZKA – Cry

Next we have the English version of a huge smash from the 2018 Ukrainian semi finalists KAZKA. The Ukrainian version known as ‘Plakala’ has been a huge hit all over Eastern Europe and even reached number 1 in Bulgaria. Following the release of ‘Cry’ it was announced that KAZKA would be entering ‘Vidbir‘ the Ukrainian National selection again:

Rasmussen – Go Beyond

Rasmussen and his marching Danes took Denmark back to the Grand Final and 9th place this year with the highly infectious ‘Higher Ground’. Full name Jonas Flodager Rasmussen, he also fronts a 1980’s covers band called Hair Metal Heröes and has performed in musicals such as West Side Story, Rent and Les Misérables. New single ‘Go Beyond’ is very reminiscent of the Avicii sound with a slightly more rocky edge:

Marta Gałuszewska – Show Me

Marta is a regular on our weekly new music articles having released 4 singles since appearing in the Polish national final ‘Krajowe Eliminacje’ in 2018. Since her 5th place with ‘Why Don’t We Go’ we believe she is working towards a mini album called ‘Reasons’, although we are not sure of the release date yet. ‘Show Me’ shows the potential Marta has to go global with her very modern pop sound:

JOWST – Everybody Knows

In a very interesting twist this week, the Norwegian 2017 Eurovision artist JOWST has released one of three songs he sent to the UK’s ‘You Decide’ selection process for 2019, but was ultimately rejected. He first confirmed he had not been successful in a tweet in October…

Following that he announced last week that one of his UK songs was titled ‘Everybody Knows’ and that he would be releasing it this week:

You can now listen to the song below and judge for the yourself whether the BBC missed a potential high placing from an artist who finished in the Top 10 at Eurovision:

Oscar Enestad – Sign of My Love

Oscar was a member of the Swedish group FO&O who took part in the Swedish selection ‘Melodifestivalen‘ in 2017, finishing 11th with ‘Gotta Thing About You’. Since then the three members – Oscar, Felix and Omar have concentrated on solo careers, with Felix of course finishing 2nd at ‘Melodifestivalen‘ last year. Oscar as well as Omar will also be trying their luck at this years contest, and Oscar has released this single as a taster:
