The Czech Eurovision selection is well underway, and eight acts are in the run to represent the Czech Republic in Eurovision 2019 in Tel Aviv. The app voting closed yesterday, but the jury votes are still to be received. The only band in this competition is Lake Malawi, and they are competing with the song titled “Friend Of A Friend”.

Lake Malawi are Albert Černy, Jeroným Šubrt and Antonín Hrabal. Their debut album released in 2017 “Surrounded By Light” produced various Top-100 songs in the Czech charts. Now the guys are competing to represent their home country in Eurovision, with “Friend Of A Friend”. We had a great pleasure to meet up with the lead singer of the band – Albert, and find out more about the band, and to speak to him about this Eurovision journey.
