Through the search for the Slovenian representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019, the popular actress Ajda Smrekar, who was introduced to the Slovenian audience in a number of theatrical and television roles, will host EMA 2019!
Ajda Smrekar already has a lot of stage experiences, but hosting such an important event as EMA 2019 is will surely be a challenge: “EMA has always been a special event for me, that has gathered all generations together and pinned us in front of the television screens. I’ve always had my favorite and was cheering for him. Just the thought that I’ll be hosting EMA this ear, accelerates my heartbeat. This evening will be so special for me, because I will not play any acting role the stage – I’ll be just Ajda, who’ll be tasked with driving you through evening, where we will choose the best among ten different and colorful songs and accompany it with pride.”
Running order has been revealed
Among with the announcement of the Ajda Smrekar, being host of this years’ Slovenian Eurovision preselection, RTVSLO also announced the running order of the ten acts who’ll try to win EMA 2019 and later represent Slovenia at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest.
