The Dutch song and artist have been chosen, says Cornald Maas!

The Dutch song and artist have been chosen and it’s a great entry, according to Cornald Maas!

Cornald has been, with a few exceptions, since 2004 been the Dutch commentator for the Eurovision Song Contest. Often asked in shows as Eurovision expert and is advisor on the committee that elects the Dutch Eurovision representative in recent years.

It has been unusually quiet around the Dutch participation however. Whereas the Eurovision candidate is usually, in recent years, known around the end of October at the latest, this year we don’t know anything yet!

In an interview with Dutch showbizz show Shownieuws however, Cornald has revealed more without revealing too much…
He tells us the artist and song have both been chosen now and adds:

It’s gonna be very, very good and quite unexpected. The entrant and song we’re gonna reveal in due time: I’m wildly enthuasiastic about it and I believe it has a big chance of finishing very high!

Last year, The Netherlands were represented in Lisbon by Waylon with ‘Outlaw In Em’:

What kind of entry do you think the committee has come up with this year?
