The United Kingdom will decide on 8th February!

Today, the BBC confirmed that they will select their song for Eurovision 2019 on a televised show on Friday 8th February.

This year, Eurovision: You Decide, will take place in Media City, the BBC studios in Manchester. Members of the public can apply for tickets via this link. A separate ballot will take place for OGAE UK members.

As previously announced, this year, three songs will be in contention. In the first round, each song will be sung by two different acts. After a vote by the general public and a panel of judges, one version of each song will be eliminated leaving a super final of three acts where a second vote will take place before the winner is decided. The songs and acts will be announced at a later date.

SuRie won last year’s edition of You Decide and represented the United Kingdom in Lisbon. Her entry “Storm” came in 24th.
