Ukraine’s Eurovision selection “Vidbir” finished moments ago. Six acts were competing in order to represent Ukraine at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv, and after the votes of the three-member jury and the public, Maruv became the winner!
After a long show full of controversies and political questions pointed at the singers, it was time for the results. Whilst the three member jury consisting of Jamala, Andriy Danilko (aka Verka Serduchka) and Yevhen Filatov favoured the girld band Freedom Jazz, they failed to score enough points from the televoting, thus the televoting winner Maruv who came second with the juries, won the show with her song “Siren Song”.
The results of Vidbir 2019 were as follows:
|Draw||Artist||Song||Juries||Televote (SMS) / App||Total||Place|
|4||Brunettes Shoot Blondes||“Houston”||2||3||5||4|
|6||Anna Maria||“My Road”||1||2||3||6|
