SVT Releases songs for Semi Final 4 of Melodifestivalen

Swedish Broadcaster SVT has just released snippets of the songs that will be performed at this Saturday’s (26th February) fourth Semi final of the Melodifestivalen.

The songs include:

Pagan Fury – Stormbringer – Click here to listen

The Folk Metal band, led by singer Arven Latour, has been appointed as the official rock band for the computer game Crusader Kings.

Anton Hagman – Känner dig – Click here to listen

Anton competed in the 2017 Melodifestivalen with the song “Kiss You Goodbye”. Anton made it to the Final where he placed tenth (You can see this below).


Lisa Ajax – Torn – Click here to listen

Lisa was the youngest winner of Swedish Idol ever in 2014. Now she is back after reaching the Melodifestivalen final in both 2016 and 2017 (You can see her songs from then below).

Arvingarna – I Do – Click here to listen

The band represented Sweden at the 1993 Eurovision with ‘Eloise’ which came 7th, and are back to the Melodifestivalen for the 5th time. Nanne Grönvall who represented Sweden in 1996 as part of the group ‘One more time’ is one of the songwriters.

Bishara – On My Own – Click here to listen

15-year-old Bishara has recently become popular for his vocal performances on Instagram, and now he is ready for the big stage. 2018 Eurovision Song Contest participant Benjamin Ingrosso is one of the songwriters.

Ann-Louise Hanson – Kärleken finns kvar – Click here to listen

Ann-Louise will be taking part in this years Melodifestivalen which extends her previous record-breaking list of 13 participations! She was also part of the band Glenmarks who competed in the 1974 Melodifestivalen- the same year that Abba won. You can see their song from 1974 below:

John Lundvik – Too Late For Love – Click here to listen

The London-born Swede had his big break in 2018, finishing 3rd in last years final of the Melodifestivalen. John is a former athletics sprinter, winning the Swedish Championships 8 times. You can see his entry from last year below:

Semi Final 4 will staged this Saturday (23rd February) at Sparbanken Lidköping Arena in Lidköping
