Zala Kralj & Gašper Šantl to represent Slovenia with “Sebi”!

EMA 2019 took place tonight at RTV Slovenija, and finally we know who will be the Slovenian successor of Lea Sirk. Zala Kralj & Gašper Šantl emerged victorious and are the act travelling to Tel Aviv with their track ‘Sebi’.

After ten songs performed, the jury consisting of Slovenian 2018 representative Lea Sirk, Vladimir Graic (composer of 2007 ESC winner ‘Molitva’) and Darja Švajger (Eurovision 1995, 1999) decided to send Raiven and Zala Kralj & Gašper Šantl to the superfinal, and they both performed again. Furthermore, Zala Kralj & Gašper Šantl won against Raiven and got a chance to represent Slovenia at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv, Israel. Zala & Gašper commanded a convincing 72.89% of the televote against Raiven’s 27.11%.

Zala Kralj & Gašper Šantl will represent Slovenia at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest with their entry Sebi, at the Semi – Final 1 on the May 14th. Our interview with Zala & Gašper will be published soon, stay tuned!
