Carousel perform ‘Little Monster’ for children’s charity

Latvia’s 2019 Eurovision representatives, Carousel, have hinted at new music in our recent interviews, and we have now had a first taste of what to expect from their forthcoming debut album.

The band, fronted by Sabīne Žuga on vocals and Mārcis Vasiļevskis on guitar, have appeared on a charity telethon event performing a new song ‘Little Monster’. The event, known as ‘Nepaej garām’ (Translation: ‘Don’t Pass By’) is a collaboration between LTV and the charity Latvijas Bernu Fonds (The Children’s Foundation of Latvia) and raises money for summer camps for children with special needs.

‘Little Monster’ was written by Sabīne and Mārcis, and is the first new track to be launched from their keenly awaited album, which is expected to be released next month. You can see their performance of ‘Little Monster’ from Nepaej Garām here:

The first suggestions of an upcoming album came in our interviews with Carousel when they appeared as guests in the Lithuanian National Final, Eurovizijos Atranka, and again when we spoke them recently in Riga ahead of the Riga Preview Party. You can view our interview here:
