Past Ireland winners announce ‘Greatest Eurovision Songs Ever’ Concert

Four of the past singers to win the Eurovision Song Contest for Ireland, aswell as the singer representing Ireland this year have announced details of a special concert this September.

‘The Greatest Eurovision Songs ever’ will celebrate 25 years since Ireland’s song at the 1994 Eurovision ‘Rock ‘n’ roll Kids’ and will be held on 5th September at the National Concert Hall in Dublin. The artists taking part include:

Linda Martin (1992),

Niamh Kavanagh (1993),

Paul Harrington and Charlie McGettigan (1994)

Eugene McCarthy and the Sugar Cubes

aswell as Sarah McTernan (2019).

The event page reads:

Enjoy a magical and memorable evening with Linda Martin, Niamh Kavanagh, Paul Harrington and Charlie McGettigan as they relive those great winning moments with the Biggest Eurovision Songs Ever.

On the night they will also celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Ireland’s iconic winning song Rock ‘n’ Roll Kids with some very special guests. The Musical Director is Eugene McCarthy and the M.C. is the legendary Paddy Cole.
