The public review ‘Arcade’ by Duncan Laurence

Our series of public reviews has reached The Netherlands. This year The Netherlands is represented by 25-year-old Duncan de Moor, better known as his artist name Duncan Laurence. Soon after the song ‘Arcade’ was published, The Netherlands became one of the favorites to win Eurovision Song Contest 2019, and Duncan Laurence still continues as one of the front runners of this year’s contest.

14 people from different countries, of different ages and professions took part of this year’s “Public reaction” project. They all are casual viewers of the Eurovision Song Contest – none of them are huge fans of the Contest, and none of them have heard any of the songs before we played them all to them (except maybe the one representing their own country).

In the video you can hear what our panel members had to say when they heard ‘Arcade’ for the very first time and how many points out of 10 each of them gave to the song.
