Free Eurovision tickets to be given away to residents of the Southern District!

The Jerusalem post has just reported that broadcaster KAN has revealed they will be giving away free tickets to the people living in ”The South”, the Southern District of Israel, which is the largest but most sparsely populate district.

Those free tickets will be available to residents who live within 40 kilometers of Gaza. This as ”a sign of support and appreciation” for the communities who had to suffer rocket fire over the weekend.

Earlier we reported on the redistribution of tickets and with the many tickets still being available for the semi-finals and rehearsal shows, KAN have now find a way to use the tickets that are left for a good cause.
The idea originated with Knesset member Zvika Hauser, who urged KAN on Monday to give the tickets to residents of the south so that:

”[…]their comfort will bring us a little comfort.”
