The public review ‘Spirit in the Sky’ by KEiiNO

Our series of public reviews has reached Norway. This year Norway is represented by the band KEiiNO, which won the ticket to Tel Aviv after winning the Norwegian national selection, Melodi Grand Prix, in the beginning of March. The Norwegian entry ‘Spirit in the Sky’ is an unique combination of pop singing and traditional Lapp chant, and it’s definitely one of the most interesting entries of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.

14 people from different countries, of different ages and professions took part of this year’s “Public reaction” project. They all are casual viewers of the Eurovision Song Contest – none of them are huge fans of the Contest, and none of them have heard any of the songs before we played them all to them (except maybe the one representing their own country).

In the video you can hear the first impressions of our panel members and find out how many points out of 10 each of them gave to ‘Spirit in the Sky’.
