Spain is back in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest!

Huge news from the Junior Eurovision world!
After a 13-year long absence from the festivities, Spain are returning to the Junior Eurovision Contest!
Spanish Broadcaster RTVE just revealed so on their official Twitter account:

(Translation: Spain will participate in Junior Eurovision 2019, which will be celebrated in Poland!)

The method of choosing the Spanish song and artist this year is still unknown but Spain can look back on a very succesful history at the contest!
They came second in the very first edition (2003) with ‘Desde el cielo’ by Sergio, María Isabel even won the year after with ‘Antes muerta que sencilla’, 2005 had another top 3-placing in store for them when Antonio José reached second place with ‘Te traigo flores’ and during the last edition before their withdrawal, in 2006, Dani Fernández made sure Spain had a flawless top 5-record on all their participations by finishing 4th with ‘Te doy mi voz’!

Let’s celebrate Spain’s return by listening to their immensely popular Junior Eurovision winner, ‘Antes muerta que sencilla’ by María Isabel!
