Three time Eurovision entrant for Sweden, and the 1991 Eurovision Song Contest winner Carola, performed a concert recently in Tylosand, where in the middle of her “Fangad av em stormvind”, she wasn’t captured by a lovestorm, but her dress got caught by fire.

Right after her performance, Carola said:

This was my first performance without a soundcheck. They have changed the position of lights, to the ones I’m normally used to. Then my dress made of chiffon got caught on fire, and at first I thought “is someone smoking here?”. Then I noticed the hole in my dress.

Luckily for Carola and for the organizers, the damage was not big, and Carola could continue with her concert. She is currently touring around Sweden, performing acoustic versions of her songs.
