Anna Kearny will sing ‘Banshee’ for Ireland at Junior Eurovision 2019!

Last night, TG4 aired the Irish national final for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, Junior Eurovision Éire and we got to learn who will be representing Ireland this November: it’s Anna Kearny!

Anna is 13 years old and comes from Foxrock, has already performed on Broadway and is now taking the step to (Junior) Eurovision as well.
She already has a relative with Eurovision experience, though! Her mother Eileen performed the interval act of 1994 as part of Riverdance!

Her entry ‘Banshee’ was composed by Cyprian Cassar, Jonas Gladnikoff and Daniel Caruana and furthermore written by Niall Mooney, Fiachna O Bhraonáin, Anna Banks and Anna Kearney herself.

Hear ‘Banshee’ for yourself:

Anna will sing for Ireland at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 which will take place on the 24th of November in Gliwice-Silesia, Poland!
