The Final of Albania’s 58th Festivali i Kenges to take place on December 22!
A few days ago, Albania’s national broadcaster has released the names of the 20 participants which will take part in the 58th edition of the traditional Festivali i Kenges, and who will thus compete to be the successor of Jonida Maliqi and represent Albania in Eurovision 2020 in Rotterdam. Today we know a bit more about the format of the competition, and the dates when this festival is going to be held.
This year’s Festivali i Kenges will go over three nights – in the first two nights the 20 acts will present their songs in two semi finals, on the 19th and the 20th of December. The Grand Final will take place on the 22nd, where the winner, and Albania’s Eurovision act for Rotterdam is going to be selected.
The 20 participants of Festivali i Kenges are as follows:

Last year’s edition was won by Jonida Maliqi, and she went on to represent Albania in Tel Aviv earlier this year with “Ktheju tokes”. She finished in 17th place with 90 points.
