We knew the Bulgarian artist for the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 would be revealed today and at a press conference in Sofia, Bulgaria it has just been uncovered by broadcaster BNT: they are sending VICTORIA!

The Bulgarian public became familiar with the, right now 22 year old, Victoria Georgieva during the fourth season of the X Factor Bulgaria.
She, however, already started singing at the age of 7 and after some time took lessons at the vocal studio Angel Voices where she was coached by Atanaska Lipcheva.

VICTORIA is excited having been given this opportunity and says:

In the beginning of 2019, I just couldn’t imagine how many opportunities will open up for me. I am proud to be the Bulgarian artist in Rotterdam. I am privileged to be able to make music that I believe in and to have the freedom to be who I am. Being the Bulgarian ambassador on such a huge stage is a big responsibility.

Her debut album is planned to be released next year.

Her Eurovision entry will be selected internally and is planned to be presented to the public in early March.
