Poland wins Junior Eurovision 2019!

As the confetti falls in Gliwice-Silesia, Poland, we have a new winner of JESC as Viki Gabor from Poland has taken the crown with the country’s second successive win!

In an exciting voting sequence, Yerzhan Maksim from Kazakhstan led after the jury voting, however Viki had an enormous public televote to give her a 51 point win.

A packed Arena saw 19 performances this afternoon and with 50% jury and 50% online voting being applied and presented in the same fashion as in the main Eurovision show, it all came down to the last televote announcement

Poland put on a spectacular show for us this afternoon and the presenters Ida Nowakowska and Aleksander Sikora, along with last year’s winner Roksana Wegiel , Shared The Joy and proved that they are capable should the main Eurovision event ever come to the country. However for now, they are the victors of Junior Eurovision for two years running, congratulations!
