This evening sees the National Final season for Eurovision 2020 get underway, with the first semi-final of the much-loved Albanian preselection ‘Festivali i Këngës’. ‘FiK’ of course predates Albania’s Eurovision debut, and this year sees it’s 58th Edition.
A total of 20 artists will be competing at Pallati i Kongreseve in Tirana for the right to represent Albania in Rotterdam and in tonight’s show we will see the first ten of the hopefuls performing their entries. They are:
- Genc Tukiçi and Nadia Tukiçi – ‘Ju Flet Tirana’
- Sara Bajraktar – ‘Ajër’
- Devis Xherahu – ‘Bisedoj me serenatën’
- Kanita Suma – ‘Ankth’
- Kamela Islamaj – ‘Më ngjyros’
- Bojken Lako – ‘Malaseen’
- Elvana Gjata – ‘Me Tana’
- Aldo Bardhi – ‘Melodi’
- Renis Gjoka – ‘Loja’
- Albërie Hadërgjonaj – ‘Ku ta gjej dikë ta dua’
The result will be determined by a three-person jury comprising of Dimitris Kontopolous, Christer Bjorkman and Felix Bergsson
