Ed Abdilla and Paul Anthony are eliminated from X-Factor Malta!

First live show of X-Factor Malta took place tonight. All contestants tried their best to convince the Maltase public voters that they deserve a place in the next live show. The theme of tonight’s show was ‘Born this way’.

Many contestants did great, and judges gave them good feedback. For example female group F. A. I. T. H. and former Junior Eurovision winner Destiny Chukunyere gave judges and audience great performances.

After all of the contestants had performed, it was Ed Abdilla who got the least votes and was eliminated straight away. Condolences to Ed and all the best for his career in the future! Here’s a little reminder of Ed’s singing in the contest:

After Ed’s elimination two other members of the Overs group, Celine Agius and Paul Anthony had to face the Sing off. The judges had a hard decision to make, when they had to decide which one of the artists go home. In the end, the judges decided that Celine deserved the place in the next round, so it was Paul who was sent home. Condolences also to Paul and all the best in the future! This is how Paul performed in the contest:

Congratulations to all contestants who made it to the next round! X-Factor Malta continues again next week with the theme ‘Guilty pleasures’. Meanwhile, You can tell us who would you like to win the ticket to Rotterdam by voting in our poll:
