MRT, the national broadcaster of North Macedonia has finally revealed news about their selection method for Eurovision Song Contest 2020. They made the announcement through their official Twitter page, confirming that North Macedonia’s entry for Eurovision 2020 will be chosen internally.

It’s definitely not the first time North Macedonia is using an internal selection, last year they did the same and selected Tamara Todevska with the song “Proud”, who achieved the best result for the Balkan country – 7th in the Grand Final.

North Macedonia last organized Skopje Fest, their national final, back in 2014, when they selected Daniel Kajmakoski for Eurovision 2015, but he didn’t reach the final in Vienna.

But what can we expect from North Macedonia? We already saw returning artist are top or flop for them, Tamara was definitely a good choice, but if we look back in 2016, Kaliopi didn’t reached the final upon her return. So, can we expect another returning artist with another risk or they will send some new faces in the contest?
