The first heat of Lithuania’s seslection process (rebranded for this season to: ‘Pabandon is Naujo’, or ‘Let’s Try again’) finished just a few moments ago, and we now know the first qualifiers for the semi-final stage.
This evening we saw performances from 12 hopefuls, and after a mix of telephone voting and the scores of a jury, we now know that the following acts were successful in making it to the next stage:
- Monika Marija – ‘If I Leave’
- Baltos Varnos – ‘ Namų dvasia ‘
- MeandI – ‘DRIP’
- Gabrielus Vagelis – ‘ Tave čia randu ‘
- Andy Vaic – ‘Why Why Why’
- Petunija – ‘Show Ya’
The public vote gave the following result:
And the jury had a similar ranking, choosing the same six qualifiers – and also placing Monika Marija in first place:

Lithuania were represented last year by Jurij Veklenko with ‘Run With The Lions’, narrowly (and perhaps unfortunately) missing out on a place in the Grand Final finishing in 11th place in the semi-final.
