SVT enrolls Melodifestivalen legend Nanne Grönvall into Hall of Fame!

SVT have announced that Nanne Grönvall will be enrolled into the Melodifestivalen Hall of Fame! This year we will celebrate the 60th winner of the Swedish television spectacular Melodifestivalen and to commemorate broadcaster SVT launched a Hall of Fame to celebrate the rich history of the contest.

So far enrolled are the 6 winning entries from ABBA, Herreys, Carola, Charlotte Perrelli, Loreen and Måns Zelmerlöw, as well as the first ever Swedish representative at the Eurovision Song Contest; Alice Babs. Today Nanne Grönvall joins these acts!

Nanne Grönvall is of course a legend in Melodifestivalen circles having taken part in the competition 11 times, 7 times as a performer and 4 times as a composer. Nanne went onto win the competition in 1996 with her group One More Time and therefore represented Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo finishing in a very respectable 3rd place.

Nanne shows no signs of slowing down with another 2 entries into this years Melodifestivalen competition both as a composer and an artist herself. She will compete twice in Semi-Final 4 in Malmö  having helped to composer Jakob Karlberg’s entry “Om du tror att jag saknar dig” as well as her own entry “Carpool Karaoke”
