Moments ago the names of the participants and the songtitles of the 16 participants of this year’s edition of Festival da Cancao have been released on Apple Music. Also, it has been revealed that this year’s Final is going to take place in the city of Elvas, but the exact venue is yet to be confirmed.
The 16 participants of Festival da Cancao are as follows:

- Blasted – Rebellion
- Claudio Frank – Quero-te abracar
- Kady – Diz so
- Dub.Io feat. +351 – Cegueira
- Elisa Rodrigues – Nao volte mais
- Filipe Sambado – Gerebera amarela do sul
- Judas – Cubismo enviesado
- Jimmy P. – Abensonhado
- Ian Mucznick – O dia de amanha
- Elisa – Medo de sentir
- Meera – Copo de gin
- Tomas Luzia – Mais real que o amor
- J. Jazz – Agora
- Throes + The Shine – Movimento
- Barbara Tinoco – Passe-Partout

The names of the composers of each song are going to be revealed shortly, when we will also find out which of these acts is going to compete in which of the two semi finals.
These acts are going to compete in two semi finals of eight on the 22nd and 29th of February. Four from each semi (selected by a mix of televoting and jury votes) will qualify for the Grand Final which is going to take place on the 7th of March.
