These are YOUR favorites in each of the semi finals of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix!

DR, Danish national broadcaster is once again organizing the traditional Dansk Melodi Grand Prix in order to find their entry for the Eurovision Song Contest. They introduced regional semi finals this year, which take place at the radio stations and dr.dk. According to the region people in Denmark live in, they can vote for their favorite song in the particular semi until noon today, and the songs with the most votes from each district semifinal will advance to the final. In addition to that, the jury will have the opportunity to choose 2 wildcard entries out of the remaining 6.

The nine songs were presented to the public last week, and we asked you to let us know which of the songs in each of the semis is YOUR personal favorite. These are the current results:

Southern District

  1. Kenny Duerlund – Forget It All – 41.87%
  2. Jamie Talbot – Bye Bye Heaven – 31.93%
  3. Nick Jones – 2 AM – 26.20%

Kenny Duerlund is currently winning this poll ahead of Jamie Talbot in second place, whilst Nick Jones is the one who failed to impress our readers and is last in this semi final.

Eastern District

  1. Ben & Tan – Yes – 50.74%
  2. SamSara – For You – 41.84%
  3. Søren Okholm – Impossible Dreamers – 7.42%

Ben & Tan managed to score over 50% of the votes, whilst SamSara isn’t too much behind in second place either. Søren Okholm is the act that scored the least number of votes in all of our polls, thus our readers think we should not be seeing him in the Final of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix this year.

Northern District

  1. MieLou – We Could Be So Beautiful – 47.59%
  2. Sander Sanchez – Screens – 36.75%
  3. Emil – Ville ønske jeg havde kendt dig – 15.66%

In this district, it was MieLou who impressed our readers the most, and topped our poll. Sander Sanchez is following in second place not too far behind, whilst Emil is currently in last place.

You can still vote in our polls, and try and change the result, as our polls are going to remain open until the semi final winners are announced later today. Vote here for your favorites in each of the semi finals:
