Slovenian national broadcaster decided to go the other way in order to select its Eurovision entrant – EMA Freš, as one part of the upcoming national selection. Tonight we got a chance to see ten performances, who competed for ticket at EMA 2020, which will happen at February 22nd, and the two winners were selected: Parvani Violet and Saška.
Two winners were selected: one by the winner of televoting and one according to the jury votes. Jury consisted by Urška Mihevc (Fed Horses lead singer), Rok Ahačevčič (lead singer of Lumberjack) and Raiven, host of EMA 2020. Decision, who picked who, will be revealed after EMA 2020.
EMA 2020 will be broadcasted on February 22nd, at 8 PM CET, in order to select the Slovenian Eurovision entrant. Slovenia is yet to win the Eurovision Song Contest, last year Slovenia was represented by zalagasper and their song ‘Sebi’, with placing 15th.
